The main purpose of the project is to redevelop the non-residential property located on floors 68 to 75 of the Mercury City Tower mixed-use complex into a private apartment.
As part of the adaptation of the existing reinforced concrete structures from floors 68 to 75 to accommodate for architectural remodelling solutions, changes were made:
- to the layout of inlets for utilities;
- to the reinforced concrete pool bowls;
- to openings in the interfloor slabs (closing up/opening).
2
The company's role in the project was to verify and adapt the existing load-bearing structures from floors 68 to 75 to implement the architectural and space-planning solutions developed by Design Erick van Egeraat for the non-residential property remodelling.
The main challenge is to ensure the load-bearing capacity and operational safety of the existing building as part of the remodelling works at the non-residential property located on the 68th to 75th floors of a high-rise building. As part of the project, local reinforcement, installation and dismantling of the reinforced concrete structures cast in situ were carried out.
